Back to Life

So after taking a little hiatus from dealing with my life, I’ve decided it’s time to take up being my old responsible self again. I’m applying for OSAP and loans, registering for school, organizing for Ireland, and cleaning my room. I figure these things will be an adequate distraction from my otherwise chaotic and distressing life. God has been stretching me and dragging me through so many heart-revelations that it’s hard to tell up from down sometimes, so I think I’ll control the things I know I can, and leave the rest up to him. Thanks to you, my lovely followers, for your private messages and your prayers, support and encouragement. I needed it, and I still do.

Anyways, here’s the exciting part of getting myself back in order—picking my last 5 courses for my undergrad! I sat down with a girl from registration and she tirelessly went through my entire transcript to figure out what courses I had left to take. Turns out I only need 2 philosophy courses and 3 random electives! So here’s what I’m taking, so far: (Ten bucks says I’ll change my mind in a week, but whatever).

Studies in CS Lewis (YES!!!)

Introduction to French

And when I went into school today, and had a paper from last semester in my mailbox, and I had gotten an A! It may sound crazy, but I’m actually a little excited to go back to school now…especially knowing that after those 5 courses, I will be done. The only terrifying thing is that I had some idea of where my life was going, some plan, some dream, and now it’s all hanging in the balance. Hanging there like a big, massive grey cloud.

And all I hear God saying is “wait, Child. wait.”
